 Teacher Materials Quick links!

Teaching materials are included that make it easy for teachers to introduce renewable energy content into the classroom. Teachers can use the lesson plans to help students understand renewable energy technologies and their importance in providing clean energy resources. These materials are also a useful complement to the energy construction plans.

A complete renewable energy unit plan (developed by a teacher for a grade seven renewable energy unit) is also provided. All across Canada there are many opportunities for using this unit plan, particularly in grade seven. The unit plan also includes student assessment tools.

Finally, for each province and territory, information is provided to help teachers incorporate renewable energy topics according to their region’s specific curriculum guidelines.
